Overview

SIAKAD IKMI is a web-based Academic Information System developed to support the digitalization of academic services at STMIK IKMI Cirebon. The platform integrates various academic services into a single system, from course plan selection (KRS), academic record management, and independent document printing to information access via a Generative AI chatbot assistant. By delivering modern, fast, and accessible services, SIAKAD IKMI aims to improve academic administrative efficiency while providing a better user experience for students, lecturers, and staff.

Problem Background

  • Inefficient Course Plan Selection: Traditional course registration workflows remain complex, making course enrollment cumbersome for students.
  • Manual Document Services: Students must go through manual administrative processes to obtain academic records, resulting in longer waiting times.
  • Scattered Academic Information: Academic information is spread across multiple services, making it hard for users to quickly access needed details.

  • Digital Course Plan Management: Provides a simplified digital course plan system with separate regular and MBKM course workflows.
  • Self-Service Digital Documents: Enables students to download official academic documents independently with QR code verification.
